I grew up in Boston where I wore scarves, biked recklessly, and captained ferryboats on the weekends. Now I live in Los Angeles where I write cartoons, curse reckless bikers, and only see boats on CSI Miami.
I adore both cities equally.
Before becoming a writer, I was a reality show producer. Both fit the criteria of damn good jobs because neither one feels much like work. For that matter, captaining ferry boats was a pretty good deal as well.
I have two cool kids, two funny-looking dogs, a hilarious husband and a cockatiel. The cockatiel is big fun, but so far has refused to repeat, You’re a genius.
I have high hopes for my better self. She runs marathons and whatnot. My regular self kicks around the suburbs, writes jokes and hangs out with the kids.
