Viewing Habits

That song from American Dad?  I want that for my alarm.  I don’t know how to set it, but I’m sure I can because the iPhone can do anything.  Except, of course, pay taxes, but I’m neither upset enough nor surprised enough by that to write about it before 7:00 AM.

But 7:01 beware!  I’ll unleash my wrath upon you!

Recently I’ve been watching American Dad reruns, Family Guy reruns and The Regular ShowThe Regular Show is with my kids, though I’d probably watch it alone if it happened to be on.

It’s been an a grown-up, look-my-age kind of April and when the TV is on, it’s on hilarious, inappropriate cartoons.

When my son was born, we watched Law & Order reruns.  We lived in the Valley, in a condo complex that had once been nice but by then had been turned over to renters like us.  It was still nice in that it had pools and the pools were clean, but that’s where it ended.  The Vally is a mixture of fabulous and awful.  For outsiders (like myself, now) the awful parts are the most fabulous because it’s in the awful parts that you can buy cool refurbished steel furniture for cheap.

But at the time it was all awful.  Awful and hot and crime ridden and we wanted to believe in a Law & Order style justice, one that doesn’t come too easily, so that it’s unbelievable, but where the righteous prevail in about 95% of the episodes.

The other 5% are to keep us on our toes, just like in real life, I’m sure of it.

What are you watching?

Our TV is really not on enough to justify paying the cable bill each month but, we keep paying the cable bill and watch less and less TV.

If I think of something witty or pithy or, take a photo that I feel compelled to share with twitter,
I do just that. I’m always happy when I see something that you have posted and a few other of my favorites.

I don’t know if I answered your question but, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
